Meet Sarah, LMT
Sarah is a licensed massage therapist at Pairmore & Young: Synergy Chiropractic whose path to the profession grew naturally out of a love of fitness and a fascination with how the body works. That curiosity led her to Alaska Career College, where she graduated in April 2022, and it continues to shape how she approaches every session. She’s especially passionate about helping people move better and helping them live with less pain.
Specialties and Techniques
Specializing in deep tissue massage and cupping, Sarah has a particular focus on clients dealing with sciatic pain and migraines. She also provides sports massage and enjoys helping athletes keep up with their sport. One of her favorite moments? Helping patients who come in barely able to turn their neck walk out with noticeably greater range of motion.
A Problem-Solving Approach to Every Session
Sarah sees each appointment as its own puzzle. She starts by listening to what the patient has going on that day, outlines her game plan so they are both on the same page, and then adapts to feedback as she works. Because she pays attention to what each person and their body is telling her, there can be a lot of variety in what sessions will look like each week. While many sessions evolve in real time, she’s still mindful of patients who prefer a consistent approach.
