Meet Dr. Mariah Hargrove
Dr. Mariah Hargrove is a chiropractor in Anchorage known for her warm personality, patient-first mindset, and commitment to helping people of all ages move comfortably and confidently. Originally from Canton, North Carolina, her path into chiropractic began after a serious cheerleading accident left her with long-term neck and arm pain. Years later, a chiropractor finally identified the cause—and that relief inspired her to help others in similar situations.
Dr. Hargrove completed her undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University, where she majored in Biological Anthropology and minored in Criminal Justice. She later earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2021, enrolling because of its strong reputation and rigorous clinical training.
Her clinical experience includes a respected preceptorship at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she worked closely with veterans experiencing chronic pain and mobility challenges. This pivotal experience solidified her passion for chiropractic care.
Today, Dr. Hargrove enjoys providing chiropractic care for a wide range of needs, with a special interest in supporting prenatal patients and older adults. She is certified in the Webster Technique, certified in Cox® Flexion-Distraction (cervical and lumbar), and trained in soft-tissue methods including Factor/Graston-style work and RockTape kinesiology taping.
Outside The Clinic
Anchorage has become a place she truly enjoys, especially the vibrant outdoor lifestyle. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, biking, and spending quality time with her three beloved dogs—two pound-rescue mixes and a Bernese Mountain Dog.
